Hani Alqam is an established visual artist working in Amman, Jordan. His work depicts the frailty in human life and all its complexities. He has had a number of solo shows in Amman and has exhibited in many countries in Europe and North America. His most recent solo exhibition which was in 2007 was a huge success. The work was a series of paintings depicting the activities of a cafe in downtown, Amman. At the moment he is working on the concept of the private space within ourselves.
